From the West Side (Lahaina, Kaanapali) or the South Side (Wailea, Kihei) take Honoapiilani Highway to the intersection of Hana Highway and Dairy Road in Kahulu, then follow the directions below, from Kahului.

From Kahului take Hana Highway towards Paia. Turn up the mountain at the intersection of Haleakala Highway and travel approximately 6 miles to the intersection of Makawao Avenue. Turn left and go about two miles to the corner of Makawao and Baldwin Avenues in Makawao, You're Here!

OK, so being from San Diego, I think I have a pretty good idea of what constitutes good Mexican food. Polli's makes their own chips - they are sooooo good. I actually don't remember my entree at all. I just remember the chips and the guacamole! YUM It's located in the rootsy little town of Makawao - so when you're done eating, cruise around and check it out.
